Producing
For production work, please send any necessary files, stems, references, or other material and communicate the services requested, expected quality, and desired timeframe. I can compose, produce, mix, and/or polish material according to the project’s needs.
A project is considered accepted only after the scope, expectations, and terms have been agreed upon. Pricing for production services will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins.
The process generally includes two or three rounds of back-and-forth revisions. Substantial changes to the original request may be considered new work rather than a revision. If specific file formats, stems, or other deliverables are needed, please communicate those expectations beforehand.
Once the agreed work is completed and the finished material is delivered, my involvement in the project is considered complete. The client retains all rights and usage of the finished material or content.
Important: Approximately 30 days after final delivery, I will generally delete from my files material provided by the client for the project. This may include files, stems, reference material, working files, and any copies I have of the final master or completed project. Clients should maintain their own copies of all material and final deliverables. Long-term file storage or archival services are not provided.
If the project later becomes a completed or major release, you are welcome and encouraged to share it with me so that I may help support and promote the work.
Collaborations
Production work and collaborative work are considered separate arrangements. Hiring Myk Gózon for production services does not by itself establish a creative collaboration or ownership interest in the project.
For collaborations, name credit is expected for major releases. For non-major releases, a name credit or social-media tag is appreciated and expected when applicable.
For major releases, a 50/50 split through distribution is acceptable as a starting arrangement, but is not an automatic requirement. Other terms may be negotiated and agreed upon as part of the collaboration. If a 50/50 split is not desired, alternative terms can be established between everyone involved.
Unless otherwise agreed, all collaborating parties are expected to have permission to share and promote the resulting work through their own platforms and social media.
If a collaborator expects direct payment for their contribution, those expectations must be communicated and agreed upon before work begins.
